Hot, hot day

Before eating dinner tonite, we decided we wanted a delicious bread to dip in to the mushroom jus that had been marinating the pork tenderloin throughout the day. So we ran out and picked up a baguette. We then went on a mini walk to pick up some red wine. Today reached 72 degrees. All that I wanted to do was go on a long walk and think and talk about all that I have been reading about cooking lately. Grabbing impromptu bread and wine satisfied most of my desires. Have a little brownie after dinner with wine tipped the nite over the scale (the measurement of my existence? I wonder).
I'm really excited for this weekend so instead of a re-cap on Monday, I want to list out the little ditties I will be partaking in. Tomorrow night we are taking a bus down to Denver with our friends Lindsee and Azlon to go see the Rapture. You can get in for free if you wear a v-neck and short shorts. Azlon is very pumped for this. I hope ridiculous things happen!! Plus taking the bus back home means irresistible amounts of shots, right?! Saturday I want to check out a cheese store I recently heard about. I guess there is a ton of cheese, oils and a little deli to grab lunch. I have been searching for the perfect olive oil so this old cheese emporium may make me very, very happy. Sunday evening we are going to dinner with Sirena and Dan. Sirena is lovely and I love her blog! It was the first blog that I read that had photos of food that she was making. That started up my huge search for food blogs. Now I am addicted. I'm off to watch Control, a movie about one of my favorite dudes. Hearts!
