book wormie

If you were ever going to come looking for me, you would probably find me with my nose in a book. I am obsessed with reading. When I was growing up, I wanted to marry someone that possessed the following:

Blue eyes
Dark brown hair
Loves to read
Loves good music
Wears glasses sometimes

On my first date with Steven, he and I went to a great show (Band of Horses) and after ate some sandwiches and talked and talked and talked about books. I think I even went as far in my head during the date as envisioning our future house with tons of bookshelves, I know, I am super creepy. Steven also happens to have dark brown hair and blue eyes and occasionally wears glasses.

This week Steven and I were chatting about books again. He sent me a list of the books he wants to get soon:

Les Enfants Terribles by Jean Cocteau
The Soft Machine by William S Burroughs
Dreams Begin Responsibilities by Delmore Schwartz
My Pilgrim's Progress by George Trow
Fabricating the Absolute Fake by Jaap Kooijman

These books seem strange and exotic to me. I want to buy him all of these. To fill up yet another bookcase we just bought. I guess I wasn't that creepy for wanting bookshelves with him. Right?
