A saint, some love

This morning when I woke I saw this:

Then I noticed the scrumptious light covering a corner of the kitchen.





My kitchen always inspires me, in lots of different ways. To be more organized, to cook more, bake more, spend more time sitting at the table reading or writing. I have been meaning to organize the pantry for months. Since I have encountered a love for using pencils lately (I feel like I have only used pens for the last several years), I decided to draw a sketch of the pantry and re-organize the shelves on paper.



This morning we watched Broken English in bed. I cried at the end because it is such a gorgeous film and also because I have been dreaming of Paris since I was five. Instead of a valentine gift, Steven made me a promise. It involves France & spring. That made me cry some more. For a girl that barely cries, I have been setting a new record this past week.

Tonite we are going out for a simple dinner. Tomorrow we took the day off of work. I love the nite before a vacation day.
