Salty

I am so in love with spring it's not even funny. Riding my bike around town is one of the best feelings ever.

This is my bike.

And this is a new jar that I bought on Sunday from my favorite vintage shop.

I kinda wish it had a lid so I could store something cool in there.

Last nite was one of the most productive evenings I have had in a while. It started out with my dad calling to play me Madonna's 'Take a Bow' over the phone. He was so proud of finding it on itunes. That was adorable. When Steven got home we road our bikes across town to a tennis court and played a bit, then road home. We made dinner then did laundry. Then! I noticed Steven in the pantry checking out some unsweetened chocolate squares, he asked me if they were good. That was awesome. So I looked in my KitchenAid cookbook for a brownie recipe, and low and behold, I had all of the ingredients on hand, which is soooooo not like me. I felt like a proud woman of the kitchen, being able to whip up some brownies just like that.

Tonite after work I am going here for happy hour:

SALT

This week is really too good to be true.
