Today is our last full day in Kaua'i. This trip is beyond words (yet I am capturing it all in my journal). It has been the truest form of relaxation. Full of long, long moments on the lanai, eating fruit every chance I get, looking at the most exotic trees and flowers around every turn.
I am going to miss this place, the pace of it, the smell. I hope I can take some things away with me and keep living in this way.

i felt the same way after we left mexico. whenever i go away and experience a different culture, i want to come back with some of the best parts of that culture.
