This is the view from my front porch. I am going to miss sitting out there. I have written many a page from the steps, had tons of drinks, watched lightening, taken deep breaths when things went wrong. All from the small space right outside our front door.

I read recently that hydrangeas do not grow in Texas. That was a tad heart breaking. But! Mango and papaya trees can grow in your back yard. So I would like that.

Is it true that things get worse before they get better? Just wondering.

I checked out four books from the library. I can't really get in to any of them. Maybe I am too distracted. Maybe it's too hot in our house.

I think tomato season starts soon? I usually let it pass me by, not enjoying it to the fullest. Maybe this year will be different.

Capiche? (do people still say that?)
