This weekend was one of the those weekends where you feel like you can take your time, move as fast or as slow as you want. I often rush myself, put unnecessary pressure on myself. So it's a bit tough to enjoy simple things. But this weekend, I enjoyed it all. Unpacking pretty porcelain kitchen things, deciding where to place the bust of Mozart, sneaking in episodes of Downton Abbey, staying out late on Saturday night, sleeping in both days.
I have been making coffee every morning with a french press for the past five months. I love the rhythm of if. This weekend we used the coffee maker, and I gotta say, I liked not having to do much. So we will keep it like that for a bit. Did I ever tell you that I have been using almond milk in my coffee instead of milk and sugar? I love it so.
I may or may not have read the entirety of this blog. One of the best little treasures is finding a blog that you like that has archives upon archives.
I also came across this song after having a Natalie Merchant binge session Friday nite. This song reminds me of wooded Iowa roads and best friends. It has perfect parts, pretty, pretty, pretty.

Sara-I adore Downtown Abbey, and also take my coffee with almond milk. Miss you, lady.
Miss you lots Kayla, I wish we were able to grab a drink soon and gush about life! I'm on episode 3 of the first season, it's already so good!!
Did I ever tell you Dan banned me from listening to Natalie Merchant? Ha! I miss her (and you), time to take her out again. I take my coffee with coconut creamer and agave yum!!

I just found out you can watch season 2 online on the pbs website. Yay! I'd like to get myself and Ivan out for a visit sometime this year. It would be so fun.
