I have been reading so much lately. A book every 2-3 days. It feels so good to become immersed, to be distracted in the best way.
The spring here reminds me of the Midwest. The scents are out of control. I constantly feel like I am 15 again, falling in and out of love, the warm weather following me everywhere. I have missed the weather in Iowa for years. So glad to encounter it again, here.

i have not been reading and it's weird. maybe it's because i started bossy pants (tina fey) got bored, and then haven't picked up something else instead.
i tried reading bossy pants as well but didn't get too far. i just started reading louise erdrich, have you heard of her? shadow tag was amazing.
next book club pick is mine. i need to pick something by saturday... any recommendations? i'll look up shadow tag.
ahhh, yes. i have a few :) have you guys read Just Kids by Patti Smith? Also, I heard The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach is really good - seems like a book club pick. Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat is also a stunner :)
