Dang, today has started off on a super duper high note. A few months ago Steven told me to check out the band Yeasayer. I fell instantly in love. I think I swooned out loud. This morning they came on Pandora so I decided to check out some of their live stuff on youtube. Holy cow, they are amaaaaazing. And pretty weird. The highlight: the bassist had a side pony!
Then, then! I had a flashback. For a while I was obsessed with the Rachel's album Music for Egon Schiele. The album has a piano, a viola, and a cello. It's the saddest album I have ever heard. It's gorgeous. While being insanely obsessed with the album I started having a re-occurring day dream. Of touring around the world playing the violin along side a piano player and a cellist. Can you imagine playing the violin in beautiful venues and getting paid for it? Hmmm? That day dream took over for a long long time. I even started taking violin lessons again to feel more a part of it all. Needless to say, seeing Yeasayer play reminded me of this time. And now I 'wanna move to the beat like I know that's its over' ;)
