Musings...minus the muse

This morning I read about a woman that likes to write between 5&7 AM every morning. I stopped reading for a moment. 5 in the morning. Wow. My first thought, of course, was that is so early. Then I thought about all of the things I have thought of over the past few years that I would love to do early in the morning, before work. I would like to take a walk, make coffee, read, make crepes, prepare glorious lunches for the day, write in my journal, stretch, write a letter. Not all in one morning of course!! I think there is something magical about the early morning. Instead of being productive, I just sleep and sleep and sleep until the very last second and then I have no time to do anything.
On a mid afternoon note, at some point during every afternoon at work I get really hyper. Like laughing out loud in my cubicle silly hyper. It's fun, and funny for me, but it's probably because I am my own best audience.
Tonite I am going shopping and to dinner with my new friend Anabel, who is in town from Madrid. I'm really looking forward to it.
Oh, and here is my newest, most sparkly obsession: Atwood
