Savannah dreamsicles

Last nite we took a long walk around one of the neighborhoods that we really love and are thinking of moving to. We started the walk at dusk. It was very warm out, almost humid. The street was wide, little bungalows on either side. Maybe because the trees are flowering and have leaves, we remarked on the overgrown feel of the yards, the big porches, how the light was just right and we declared that we felt like we were in the south, and this declaration made me fall more in love with the area. Five blocks in to our walk it became completely dark and the houses began to glow. I'm pretty sure I shivered it was so lovely. We talked about each house as we walked along, under gigantic trees that almost seemed scary but were just plain beautiful. And then! The smell of lilacs surrounded us and I almost fainted, ha! Just kidding. But the smell took me back and I was grateful to have the memories. Then we got in the car and drove away. To fill in my homesickness for that adorable neighborhood I simply opened the second book in the Twilight series and fell in love all over again. Moral of the story: I fall in love very, very easily and I am obsessed with the Twilight series. Please tell me you are too.
