Today I was thinking about all of the little gems that have happened over the last few weeks:

-bought a bike from a lovely friend. already added on my pink hello kitty bell
-every single day for 3 weeks it has rained here..and..thundered. heaven
-wrote a poem yesterday and submitted today
-received a bottle of wine from a new friend because i went to four gas stations looking for a slushie for him
-found out that one of my poems is going to be published by the Midwest Writing Center...and..i received an honorable mention
-had a wild week at work and even though i was completely flustered inside, was complimented for never panicking
-bought steven a great red ceramic bird that you can hide things in that will look great in our new kitchen
-found out my brother is moving to colorado to look for a job
-heard the most amazing news from an amazing friend
-sat transfixed at a neko case concert; her stage was the color of halloween and her voice made me swoon over and over and over again...this was the only concert that i have ever sang the line 'they call them killer whales' outloud
-fell in love with steven for the twelve hundredth time
