Turn.It.Up

We bought some really glorious vegetables from the farmers market. We picked up some asparagus, white turnips, swiss chard, spinach and tomatoes. All for under $15. Holla! So I gotta tell you about these turnips.

I have never eaten a turnip in my life. Let alone whipped up a meal involving them. So I found a recipe online and we made it the other nite. And now. I adore turnips. I simmered the turnips in a vegetable broth with onions and garlic, then added sour cream and topped with sharp white cheddar cheese and fresh parsley.
Don't even get me started about the homemade vinaigrette I made to dazzle the asparagus.
Steven had never been to the Boulder farmers market. He was in heaven. Everywhere you turned there was a baby or a dog. It's cute scene.
