After

It's been a little bit since I posted last. If I had written, it would have been the most gigantic pity party of the year. But!! The weather is perking up. 60 today. The owner of our little house came by this morning and replaced a few of the storm windows with screens. All windows open all afternoon. She mentioned that we can plant lettuce, peas and spinach after March 17. This gave me butterflies. I have never really gardened before. Over half of our backyard is full of organic beds so we are gonna give it a shot.

I bought flowers at a little market down the street. That made me happy. We also began a spring clean today. I finally cleaned out the pantry. It's so organized now, I like walking by it and peeking in. Steven organized all of our records and categorized them. This evening we are setting up his studio in the den. I am also completely caught up on dishes. Hello. And on a side, whisper note, I created a little inspiration wall next to my desk. I love how a little color scheme evolved.

Not to get too mushy, but the past couple weeks have taught me so much. What stands out the most is that I have control over my happiness. And that I need to make a couple changes that will involve heaps of courage.

Our road trip to Cali is in less than 45 days. I plan on buying a ton of dresses before we leave. And books. And lots of shades of lipstick and nail polish.

Here are some photos of our home for you.

And a new song I heard this morning:
