Birds

Yesterday after work Steven & I went on a long drive in the country. We had no idea that a few miles from our house are acres and acres of farms, sweet little houses, cows galore and beautiful horses. A couple minutes in to the drive we discovered a huge lake. Further down the road we found a restaurant that serves 'casual European cuisine' and has a happy hour every day. What?!! We then drove through a little town that had about four buildings on the main street, one a little cafe. I'm just in awe that this is all so close to us. The drive was so relaxing.
We came home to a tornado watch, which always feel a little exciting and a little scary.

Side note: our little house does not have air conditioning. You may recall from my desert camping that I don't like being hot. Yesterday was 96 degrees. Hello heat.
