Mrs. Burns

Saturday morning we rode our bikes to a coffee shop. We have only been there twice and when I walked in, the girl behind the counter remembered my name! I couldn't believe it. They have the best green tea latte of all time.

My hair has been a little out of control lately. I love it. It's been big and unruly, just the way I like it.
I recently had a dream about my high school reunion. It's this fall. I don't really want to go. But now I think about it in my dreams!
Steven and I made a big list this weekend, of things we have been wanting/needing to do. 3 pages.
Oh! I planted some vegetables this weekend. We have four raised garden beds in the backyard. I only had the energy for one :) A few weeks ago I tilled the soil (I can't believe I "tilled" something). Then last week I took a rake and raked the soil. Yesterday I watered the soil, raked again. We have a compost behind the shed so I filled up a wheelbarrow with compost and sprinkled over the soil, then raked again and smoothed out the dirt. Then I planted four varieties of tomatoes, a black beauty egg plant, african basil, cilantro, oregano & lavender. Can you believe it? I can't. Also, did you know that there is a basil called Mrs. Burns?
