Sun/flowers

Yesterday after work I didn't really feel like burning up in my house so I sat on the front porch and watched the sprinkler water the front yard & garden. It was so relaxing. A breeze picked up and the sky got cloudy and it started thundering. It was glorious. I grabbed a book and some lemonade and felt sprinkles from the sprinkler and I felt good. Loved it. Here was my view from the porch.

I love our front garden, it's wild.

Our little house and yard make me so happy. We have now been there for a year. I might have a little secret to unveil in the next couple months.

Lately I have been obsessed with balsamic vinegar. Isn't it soo good? I'm thinking of make a simple pasta with veggies & vinegar.

We have yet to go to the farmer's market. I will be so sad if we miss it completely this year.

My best friend Lulu is coming to visit beginning of August. I am dying of happiness and excitement.

I have been a bit sentimental lately. Little things really move me. I am reading a memoir right now and in a little part of the book the author wrote about coming back to her hotel from walking around Rome all day and had a little bowl of peaches in water next to her bed. That sounds lovely.
