A little space

In the unfinished part of our basement there are some really lovely cabinets. I have always envisioned a little work space a top the cabinets. Yesterday I decided it was time to clear the crazy mess around and on top of the cabinets. Behold, the before, middle and after.

This corner has all of my vases and the small brown hanging bag holds ribbons & tissue paper to put together quick gifts.



We received these little pots as a wedding gift. I think they are meant to hold spices for you kitchen. I loved the idea of filling with little things, to try to be a bit organized.





A spot for my journal to jot down ideas.



And a space to tack up bits of inspiration.



I hadn't thought of clearing out the drawers, but Steven found some contact paper so I moved our landlords stuff out of two drawers, lined them, and filled with art supplies.
