cheers, fo sho

I have this photo I have been wanting to post, of the sign I made for our garage sale. But I am so very lazy lately. So here are a few songs that have been buzzing around my in car, my house, my head for a few days now.

It has been in the 90s & above for ten days straight, or something wild like that. Today, it was in the 80's. I ate dinner outside with my bestie Payal, and I swear, a breeze was running through our hair and caressing our drinks. It was amazing. A break from the heat, exactly what I needed.

Last nite I packed three big boxes of books. Felt so good. I may have been sweating profusely and had a very heavy shoe fall on my shoulder.

Today, about mid-day, my heart was racing for about 10 minutes, and I was this close to giving my two weeks notice at work. A part of me wishes I had enough gusto for that. But I guess all the sensible responsibilities that the job allows is outweighing anything too rash right now. I think my heart raced because I finally realized it is time to move on, that it's necessary. And my heart surged with excitement, and panic. A good feeling I suppose.

We leave town in twelve days.

OMG you have to post that sign. I just drove by a pathetic looking garage sale sign today and thought that I really should start a blog about garage sale signs. They crack me up!

So excited for you! You'll be missed but I think it will be great for you guys and you get to move with your husband/best friend so it makes it more of a fun adventure when you have someone to share it all with!

I love all the music but I'm obsessed with the 3rd one (Little Dragon). And I'm loving the cooler weather too. I have a few mosquito bites b/c I fell asleep reading in my hammock out back but it was SO worth it.

Good luck with the move!
