The other morning we were meandering around town and had no idea where to stop for lunch. We crossed the street with these two guys and they started talking to us and we mentioned we just moved here and they recommended a place for brunch so we followed them in. Turned out to be a great spot. Our waiter was pretty funny, with his references to hot dogs for breakfast and mentioning that his current guilty pleasure is eating grits covered in lots of ketchup while watching Millionaire Matchmaker. Pretty amazing. I have been telling myself for months that when we move I will be more outgoing, you know, like strike up a convo with a stranger. Did I mention that the waiter was constantly dancing? So on the receipt I signed, You've got the moves! That's outgoing, right?

Since I am working from home full-time, my outfits consist of black yoga pants and black tank tops. I am really liking that. Trying to get in the groove of all this new stuff.

People have started blogging about fall, and fall-like things. This makes my heart ache a tad, since it's so hot here and I don't even know if there is fall weather. I can't wait to wear tights again.
